Privacy Policy

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers this marketing website and the personal information you give us when you join the waitlist or apply to become a design partner. It does not cover how the Sable Silo product handles data on behalf of a customer. That is governed by a separate customer agreement and data-processing terms.

2. Information we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect the email address you provide and the part of the site you signed up from.

When you apply to become a design partner, we collect your name, your company name, your work email address, your role if you give it, and any message you send us.

When you use the site, our systems automatically record limited technical information to keep the service working and secure. This includes your internet protocol (IP) address, your browser type, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your request.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not build marketing profiles about you. Please see our Cookie Policy for more.

3. How and why we use your information

We use your information to:

• contact you about early access and about the design-partner programme;
• respond to your enquiry or application;
• operate, secure and improve the website;
• keep records of the consent you gave and our correspondence;
• meet our legal obligations.

Our lawful bases under the UK GDPR are your consent, which you give by submitting a form to hear from us, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting the website and in contacting people who asked to hear from us. You can withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop contacting you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the site and communicate with you, and only to the extent they need it. These currently include:

• our cloud hosting and database provider, Google Cloud Platform, where signups are stored;
• our email provider, Resend, used to send and receive messages;
• our team messaging tool, Slack, used to alert us to new signups;
• professional advisers and public authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.

Each provider acts under a contract that requires it to protect your information and use it only on our instructions.

5. International transfers

Our primary hosting region is the United Kingdom. Some providers may nonetheless process limited information outside the United Kingdom. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as a UK adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, so your information keeps a similar level of protection.

6. How long we keep it

We keep waitlist and design-partner information for as long as we are in contact with you about early access, and no longer than the law allows, and we delete it sooner if you ask us to. We review what we hold from time to time and remove what we no longer need. We keep security logs for a short period and then delete them.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to restrict or object to how we use it;
• ask us to move your information to another provider, where that applies;
• withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these, contact us at legal@sableterminal.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, although we would welcome the chance to help first.

8. How we protect your information

We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including access controls, encryption of data in transit, and limiting who on our team can see signups. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to reduce risk.

9. Children

This website and our waitlist are intended for people acting in a business capacity and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service develops. When we make a material change we will update the status and date shown at the top of this page.
