1. How Silo uses AI

Sable Silo uses artificial intelligence to understand questions asked in plain language, to gather relevant information from the systems it is connected to, and to propose actions. AI helps interpret and assemble information. It does not act on its own.

2. A person is always in control

Silo does not change your systems by itself. Every action it proposes is shown to you in plain language and only goes ahead when a person approves it, and changes can be undone. This human oversight is a core part of how the product is designed.

3. How your data is handled with AI

Silo is built to work with your data in place. It reads only what a question needs, in the moment, and keeps no copies by default. For the strictest environments it can be run so that storing your data is not possible.

We do not use your business data to train third-party AI models without your explicit agreement. We use a single AI provider: Google, through the Vertex AI platform, running models from the Gemini family. We do not send your data to any other AI provider. Google processes this data as our service provider, under contract terms that restrict how it may be used.

4. Accuracy and limitations

AI can be wrong or incomplete. Silo is designed to show its working and to keep a person in the loop precisely because automated answers should be checked, not trusted blindly. You remain responsible for reviewing any proposed action before you approve it.

5. Your controls

You decide what Silo can connect to, what it is allowed to do, and what, if anything, is stored. Every action is recorded so you can see what happened and who approved it.

6. Governance and changes

We keep this policy under review as the technology and the law develop, including regulatory guidance on artificial intelligence. We will update the status and date above when we make a material change.
